Recording Stand Up was one of the greatest experiences of our creative journey. What a joy and enormous privilege to collaborate with the likes of Larry Muhoberac (Elvis Presley's former band leader), John Guess (known for engineering Christopher Cross's multi-Grammy-winning Sailin'), Billy Preston (known as the fifth Beatle who played mad b-3 and killer keys on "God Loves You"), and the legendary Andrae and Sandra Crouch Singers (featured on "Pickin' Up the Pieces"). Stand Up was recorded in four of the finest and storied recording studios in Hollywood and featured many of the greatest studio musicians of our generation. Most importantly we enjoyed a rare spirit of unity, creativity, and shared purpose from beginning to end.
